Types of Classes We Offer for Booking
Would you be interested in bringing a group of individuals or a team to our greenhouse to plant a container garden together? This is an excellent team-building exercise that can also be an ideal bridal shower for someone who loves gardening. It is also a great idea for an afternoon out with friends who are interested in gardening.
We ask that you have a minimum of 5 individuals that will attend the class and a maximum of 30 people. You may bring snacks, drinks, etc. We will provide a table for those items.
12" Simple Geranium Planter
$35.00 per person
This is a hands-on event, so please come prepared to get your hands dirty or bring gloves. The class is designed to be basic and lasts approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on the number of attendees. You will be provided with an 11" black plastic pot and potting soil. The plants you will be planting will be spike, 3 red geraniums, and 3 vinca vines. One of our expert gardeners will lead the class, explaining container gardening, how to take care of your plants, and what kind of watering and lighting they require. We will guide you through the process of planting the container, step by step, and you will leave with a finished product.
14" Geranium Planter
$45.00 per person
This is a hands-on event, so please come prepared to get your hands dirty or bring gloves. The class is designed to be a little bit more customizable than the 12" class. It lasts approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on the number of attendees. You will be provided with a 14" terra cotta-colored plastic pot and potting soil. The plants you will be planting will be spike, 4 geraniums (with the color choice being up to each attendee), and 4 sweet potato vines. One of our expert gardeners will lead the class, explaining container gardening, how to take care of your plants, and what kind of watering and lighting they require. We will guide you through the process of planting the container, step by step, and you will leave with a finished product.
14" Shade Planter
$60.00 per person
This is a hands-on event, so please come prepared to get your hands dirty or bring gloves. The class is designed for individuals looking to spruce up their covered porches. It lasts approximately 40-45 minutes, depending on the number of attendees. You will be provided with a 14" terra cotta-colored plastic pot and potting soil. The plants you will be planting will be all shade-loving plants that will do well with little to no sunlight, i.e. ferns, coleus, grasses, etc. One of our expert gardeners will lead the class, explaining container gardening, how to take care of your plants, and what kind of watering and lighting they require. We will guide you through the process of planting the container, step by step, and you will leave with a finished product.
16" Customizable Container
$75.00 per person
This is a hands-on event, so please come prepared to get your hands dirty or bring gloves. The class is designed for creative individuals looking to plant something customizable. It lasts approximately 60 minutes, depending on the number of attendees. You will be provided with a 16" terra cotta-colored plastic pot and potting soil. You will have the time to walk around the greenhouse and choose the plants that you'd like to plant in the container. We will be with you every step of the way with recommendations, but ultimately the finished product will be of your design. One of our expert gardeners will lead the class, explaining container gardening, how to take care of your plants, and what kind of watering and lighting they require. We will guide you through the process of planting the container, step by step, and you will leave with a finished product.
